FANSHY
FANSHY brings back the authentic, on-the-grill kofta sandwich with a flavor rooted in nostalgia and tradition, capturing the unmistakable taste and aroma that generations have grown to love. The brand’s identity draws inspiration from the vibrant street art found across Egypt—evoking the charm of hand-painted food carts in Mohandessin and the graffiti-splashed walls of Downtown Cairo. Every detail of the branding reflects the raw, expressive typography and playful visual style that have long been part of Egypt’s culinary streetscape.
We created the name FANSHY— inspired from “Fan El Shawy” or “The Art of Grilling” , celebrating the craftsmanship behind every perfectly grilled sandwich. Our approach to FANSHY was to create a brand that blends this authentic artistry with a modern, elevated grab-and-go experience. The messaging and design elements capture the spirit of Egypt’s streets while conveying a commitment to quality, flavor, and affordability.
This project honors the nostalgia of familiar sights, tastes, and scents, breathing new life into the traditional kofta car experience while rebuilding trust in the food industry. FANSHY bridges the gap between timeless street flavors and contemporary convenience, making every meal a satisfying journey back to the heart of Egypt.
