NAMING & VISUAL IDENTITY –

Osta Rosto is a one meal, fast paced restaurant, where rotisserie chicken is the star of the show. Its goal is to provide a convenient, easy-to-enjoy lunch that anyone can have every day. Osta Rosto offers a fast, take-away only service that is based on large quantity preparation, cutting waiting times in half. With an affordable price range and an authentic Egyptian feel, Osta Rosto is a place that combines health and taste with convenience and ease.

The name we developed for this brand clearly describes the experience. “Osta” has an Authentic Egyptian Feel (meaning “master” or “skilled craftsman” in Egyptian Arabic) giving the brand a strong local identity.   “Rosto” immediately connects to rotisserie or roasted chicken.

The identity captures the dynamic motion of a rotisserie chicken spinning on a grill. By focusing on the chicken and its movement, we created a unique icon inspired by the chicken’s head. The rotating grill is emphasized through visual and typographic elements, mimicking the motion of the grill. For the color palette, the warm yellow and burgundy evoke both tradition and modernity, capturing the authentic charm of rotisserie chicken while giving the brand a fresh, engaging look. This approach not only highlights the artistry of rotisserie cooking but also stands out with a memorable and own-able identity.
